ResellerRatings.com, a company that lets users review and rank online resellers, has released a survey showing that small and mid-size retailers have higher customer satisfaction ratings than large corporations such as Wal-Mart and Amazon. In addition, the report indicates that PortableOne received one of the highest scores among small computer "e-tailers," with an overall score of 9.66 out of 10.

ResellerRatings found that although large retailers produce higher revenues and get more visits from shoppers, their customers reported a lower customer service score.

"Our? survey ?shows? that ?smaller ?e-tailers ?are ?aggressively ?competing? for ?business? by ?taking customer? satisfaction? very? seriously," said Scott? Wainner, ?founder ?of? ResellerRatings, in a news release. "These? online merchants ?monitor? how ?consumers ?are ?rating ?them ?on ?our ?site, and? respond ?swiftly ?to ?remedy ?any ?negative ?opinions ?or ?reviews."

Respondents were asked questions on a number of criteria, including overall satisfaction, competitive pricing, likelihood of returning to shop, shipping process, customer service and experience with returns.

PortableOne received significantly higher marks than Dell and Buy.com, including a perfect 10 score over the last six months.

On the ResellerRatings website, which requires visitors to give an order number to prove they actually shopped at the store they are reviewing, past customers have complimented our quick shipping turnaround, low prices and our ability to answer questions about our products, including the Apple iPad 4 and the 15" MacBook Pro with Retina Display.

It's not surprising. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness to customer demands and our flexibility in providing the best customized laptop experience for each visitor.
