Microsoft is allegedly working on a new application that will allow users across multiple devices, and operating systems, to share clipboard data, from one device to another, regardless whether it’s running Windows 10, iOS, Mac OS X, or Android.

A total of 7 editions will be available for consumers and corporate customers. 6 will run on a variety of consumer/industry devices, from smartphones, tablets and PCs, to industrial/retail devices, like cash registers, and robotic equipment. A seventh edition will power smaller, simpler Internet of Things devices, like routers, gateways and lightweight web servers.

With a new experience, comes a new array of security features that will transparently keep web users safer than they have ever been on any version of IE. In a recent post on Microsoft’s official Windows blog, the Windows Team published a thorough list of security features that will be part of Microsoft Edge, upon release.

Windows PC users who are relatively young, may or may not be aware of the reason why there are not one, but two “Program Files” folders, in which installed programs physically reside. Even more obscure, may be the reason why one of the two folders is named “Program Files(x86)”.
