In the most recent issue of Fortune magazine, Apple was listed as the most admired company in the world. The poll has been taken annually for the past 30 years, and provides insight into which brands are doing the best job of protecting their legacy and turning a profit at the same time. The author who compiled the list mentioned that this year, all but two of the companies that cracked the top ten were so-called "one man phenomena" where one person was primarily responsible for the company's success.

The writer of the article seemed to think, somewhat logically, that because Steve Jobs has passed on, Apple is now without a leader. This is the most recent iteration of a fear that has been felt across the tech sector, as many fans of the company wonder if it can continue to innovate at such a fast pace if it doesn't have the hardworking visionary of Jobs at its helm.

According to Brian Hall, a writer for Tech.Pinions, these claims are completely unfounded. In his most recent article, Hall dissected all of the evidence that he could find that before Jobs left Apple, he created a lasting legacy for himself and looked to find a way to keep the company running forever.

One of the most compelling parts of Hall's reasoning that Jobs set the Apple up for posterity before he passed away is Apple University. One of the last things that Steve Jobs did before he died was to set up the internal executive training program known as Apple University. The program teaches future leaders of the company the importance of sustained innovation, so that the brand can continue to shake things up in the tech world forever.

Apple University is one of the lesser known aspects of even this incredibly secretive company. But perhaps that program is the reason that Apple has managed to stay heads and shoulders above the rest. With a great idea like this, we can count on Apple products to be around well into the future. Speak to a knowledgeable expert from PortableOne today about developing a customized laptop from Apple.
