Thursday, June 12, marks the first day of the 2014 World Cup, an exciting event where 32 countries will battle for top soccer dominance. In order to capitalize on the excitement surrounding this major sporting event, Apple has launched a new section of its mobile App store specifically designated for all things FIFA and World Cup related. If you are invested in this time of year, be sure to check it out!

Everybody who owns an Apple product, whether you have an older generation iPhone or have just purchased a new iPad mini, has access to the app store and the thousands of different features that it carries. The new section that the tech giant has launched to coincide with the World Cup is called "Soccer Fever," your one-stop shop for everything that you could possibly need to keep you informed and up-to-date on the action that is happening down in Brazil!

In addition to following along with all of the World Cup goings on, customers will be able to download and play their own virtual soccer games, so you can represent your favorite team and country while heading off to work each morning. Among the apps that Apple is offering in this new section are WatchESPN, FIFA's official app and MLS Matchday. If you are lucky enough to be heading to Brazil for the tournament, Apple also has travel guides available for the surrounding cities.

If you own an Apple product and are crazy about soccer, be sure to check out this section in the App store! To purchase a new Apple device, whether you are in the market for a smartphone or Macbook Pro, be sure to shop with PortableOne today. Browse the rest of our website for the electronics that we have to offer.
