The addition of this “sports gear” to Windows 10 Pro may not necessarily mean that Microsoft is planning to downsize Windows 10 S, which may still be available after the upgrade, as a standalone license, for users who want to stick with a mobile experience.

Effective next month, Microsoft Windows 10’s stock security suite, Windows Defender, will expand its list of “unwanted software”, to fake “optimizer” apps, and automatically remove them from all systems where Windows Defender is in use as primary security software.

Make no mistake, Apple is fully aware of VR. The Cupertino tech giant may have seem a little out of touch with this latest trend, especially considering how far Windows 10 PCs have gone to fulfill the hefty requirements of early VR headsets, but Apple has proven time and time again that the long game pays off, and poise should never be mistaken with indifference.
