Walmart’s Hot New Offer– The Galaxy Tab A7 Is Now More Affordable!

Giants like Walmart always offer great deals during Black Friday. This year, they’re offering some superb offers for Apple devices and other tech. But what caught many people’s eyes was their deal for the Galaxy Tab A7. It was released recently but is already extremely popular, and many are flocking to grab it.

The Deal – What Is it?

When it comes to the tab market this year, Samsung sold 9.4 million units in Q3. This is impressive, especially since they were responsible for manufacturing almost 20% of the tablets sold worldwide.

The S7+ came out in the first quarter of this year and is the world’s first 5G tab. It is probably the reason why Samsung did so well. They might fare equally well in the fourth quarter too. Although it’s too early for official data, the recently released Tab A7 is quite popular.

Walmart offers it for $169, while it’s available at $230 elsewhere. Its specs make it one of the best tablets under $300, so it will probably sell out fast. The offer came into place on November 11th, and if you’re interested, don’t hesitate to check it out.

You can also pick the Apple Air pods Pro for $169 and save around $130. The Apple Watch Series 3 is a steal, and Walmart is offering it for only $119.

Why the Galaxy Tab A7?

It comes with a large display. You don’t need to be a tab enthusiast to know how great this is. You’ll have a more immersive experience as its screen is 10.4 inches.

To be more specific, its dimensions are 9.75 in x 6.20 in x 0.28 in, and the thickness is perfect. The beastly iPad Air (2020) is a bit thinner at 0.24 inches.

It’s large, but more importantly, there’s barely any bezel action going on. This is seen in more expensive units. Its screen-to-body ratio is a bit lower than 80%.

Its sharpness makes it the best for streaming content and playing games. The display has a resolution of 1200 x 2000 pixels.

Unlike the S7+, it won’t come with a Super AMOLED display and has an IPS LCD panel instead. If you look at other tablets in the same price range, this isn’t uncommon. However, the lack of AMOLED sadly means it’s not as vibrant as it could be.

You’ll have a great experience watching videos due to its enhanced Dolby Atmos quad speakers. They are known for being loud enough to fill medium-sized rooms. It’s one of the best tabs under $300 due to its audio. However, the nits it comes with are impressive too. The best tabs have around 500, which is a box it ticks. Its display reaches 475 max nits.

If that’s not enough, it also comes with USB capabilities. You’ll be able to plug peripherals and storage devices. The handiest would be a keyboard. Because of this, you’ll be paying less than $200 to snag a fully functional mini-computer.

Its insides are also computer-like due to its chipset. Samsung placed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, and it comes with 3 GB RAM. Moving through apps would be silky smooth. Its processor powers the new Android 10.

The OS runs with Samsung’s proprietary skin, One UI. The company used Touch Wiz but it left them with a lot of flak as many users complained about its subpar appearance. One UI is arguably better-looking.

There’s some good storage, though. You can purchase it with either 32 or 64 gigs of space. You can expand the ROM up to 1 TB with a microSD card.

Since it’s a large device, you need a large battery. There is a 7040 mAh one inside. If you consume a lot of media, you wouldn’t want your tablet to die on you. Thankfully its battery lasts around a day. The bigger S7+ has a battery of over 10,000 mAh. Both batteries last around the same which is impressive.

You may expect wireless charging and we’re disappointed that it doesn’t come with this feature. However, even flagship alternatives like the S7+ don’t come with wireless or reverse charging.

It won’t take a lot of time to charge. Its fast charger takes it from 0-100% in less than 2 hours. Like its counterparts, the battery can’t be removed, as its back is sealed shut. It’s also super comfortable. You’ll love the way it feels in your hands. It also comes in some great shades, including silver, gold, and dark-grey. Depending on the Walmart outlet you visit, the choice would depend.

Tabs are not known for their cameras. That being said, its set-up is decent. You’re getting a single camera on its rear, with an 8 MP lens. Its selfie camera is a 5 MP shooter.

By this point, you might be looking forward to purchasing it from Walmart. To make things even better, you’ll get a free Spotify and be upgraded to Youtube Premium once you do. The former will be for 6 months and the latter for 2. You’re not getting this feature courtesy of the store, however. Samsung is offering them instead.

Final Thoughts

It’s no surprise that the Korean manufacturer is a leading name in the game. The A7 is affordable, yet comes with great specs. They always promise quality and the tablet definitely has this.

Walmart was smart to put it up on sale. It’s a hot new device so it’s sure to sell out. News of the drastic price drop has been making the rounds, as well.

Of course, the store is offering discounts for other items too. The Airpod Pros at $300 are now only $169.

When it comes to why the Tab A7 is so great, we have to talk about its viewing experience. It offers a large ultra-wide display. The fact that it doesn’t have much bezel action going on is another advantage. The experience is especially immersive due to its Dolby speakers.

What’s more, you can plug a keyboard into it and use it as a mini-computer, which makes it even more appealing.
