Microsoft releases a new Windows 10 build to fast ring insiders

Yesterday a new preview build of Microsoft Windows 10 was released, to Insiders who signed up to receive fast ring updates. The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 10532 comes with a number of changes, fixes and updates providing clues on what we can expect Windows 10’s next major update will be like to consumers.

Microsoft Windows 10 Laptops

Some of the noteworthy updates that are part of this build include improved context menus. While the look and feel of the menus is still a work in progress, Windows 10 is decidedly moving towards an increasingly cohesive design across all applications, from Universal apps to third-party software. The current look of the context menu follows a modern, flat and minimalist feel, however some applications will display context menus in slightly different sizes and line height. This behavior is expected to change to where all menus will look and behave in the same way throughout the operating system.

Microsoft Windows 10 Preview Build 10532 feedback sharing

A sharing link was added to Windows Feedback, which allows users to submit feedback on their experience to Microsoft, and simultaneously share their reviews with other users. The functionality uses any app that supports Windows Share.

Chrome startup issues

As of build 10525 Insiders have been reporting issues causing Google Chrome to crash upon launch. While we have not experienced such issue so far, the bug seems to be plaguing a number of users. Google is aware of this issue and a fix is on its way.

Windows Hello

On this build, Windows Hello face recognition will not work with a number of devices that integrate Intel RealSense 3D cameras. Windows Hello will still work with other methods of authentication, like PIN, password and fingerprint recognition.
