Apple iPhone 6 32GB and 64GB coming in September

September 19 2014, the same date set for the launch of the iPhone 4S, 5, 5C and 5S, will see the release of the much awaited iPhone 6, in its 32GB and 64GB versions.

The news leak, reportedly via a Chinese inside source mentioned by MacRumors, seems compatible enough with Apple’s trend, as well as coinciding with Apple’s end of its financial year.

Both versions of the iPhone, with 32GB and 64GB storage, will launch simultaneously, in the 4.7 inch size. The “phabled” (pun intended) 5.5 inches version was not mentioned in the report, yet Bloomberg reported on Monday the 5.5 version will ship also on the same date as the 4.7 inches model.

The prices mentioned in the report are in Yuan, and although unofficial, they might reflect ballpark figures for worldwide retailers.

The 32GB version is reportedly priced at 5,288 Yuan, or $848.15, while the 64GB version is likely to cost as much as 6,288 Yuan, or $1,008.54.

Earlier reports conflict with Bloomberg’s, as far as the 5.5 version release date, following rumors of production issues in regards to display and battery, which could set the release date of the 5.5 version sometimes in 2015.

Considering the latest announcement by GT Advanced Technologies confirming plentiful supply of Sapphire glass, there is a chance Bloomberg’s report might be accurate.
