4 iPhone and iPad apps to get you started with this New Year's resolutions!

2015 is here! Time to start working on those New Year’s resolutions, and what better motivation than a short list of cool apps that are sure to help getting ourselves right back on track after the Holidays!

Coach.me

This free fitness app, formerly known as “Lift”, does more than mere tracking of calories intake and exercise routines; it focuses on the formation of healthy habits through routine reminders programmed automatically, by setting one or multiple goals. The app also provides paid access to professional fitness coaches and personal trainers.

Resolution Tweet

The idea behind this app is simple: motivation is better found in mutual support from a larger group. The basic function of Resolution Tweet is fundamentally to be a motivational tweets aggregator, creating an endless stream of inspiration from other users, based on a set goal, as well as sharing resolutions with other users.

The Eatery

This app veers off from the traditional concept of nutrition tracking. While most apps in similar categories provide pre-defined information about food intake, calorie count and other pre-programmed nutrition-based information, The Eatery works by letting users post pictures of food, in a similar way as Instagram or Pinterest, but with the option of letting other users rate the food.

Kickit

Break bad habits by setting enticing goals! Kickit is a cool little app that helps quit smoking by letting users set a goal, in the form of a sought after shopping item. The app keeps track of how much money the user saves by not buying cigarettes, every day, until enough is saved to go shopping. iMac Retina, here i come!
