According to a new report from Apple rumor website 9to5Mac, the tech giant is going to release two new models of the Macbook Air at some point on Tuesday, April 29. The new versions are expected to be a minor update to the current Macbook Air line, with no big changes anticipated.

The report says that shipments of new Macbook Airs have begun arriving in very large quantities at Apple stores all across the United States earlier in the week. The new models could go on display as soon as this afternoon. The new 11- and 13-inch models are codenamed J41A and J431, respectively.

Though these minor changes to the Macbook Air line are coming with very little advance warning, the 9to5Mac report says that Apple is expected to introduce another upgraded edition of its Mac line later in the year. These new versions are expected to include a retina display, a thinner frame and no fan.

The Macbook Air that is reported to be released later in the year will be 12 inches. For now, the company is said to be taking down its online store during the day in order to update its overall inventory before the computer is finally released to the general public. The company has not publicly responded to these new rumors.
