Most mobile computers have either a CompactFlash I/O or PC Card (PCMCIA) slot. Socket's Type II CompactFlash-to-PC Card Adapter converts your Type II CompactFlash card into a Type II PC Card, so you can also use it in a Type II PC Card slot. This eliminates the hassle and cost of buying multiple cards to use with your different types of mobile computers. Plus, if the card you need is available only in the CompactFlash form factor, now you don't have to worry about compatibility issues with a PC Card slot. The adapter features a locked shutter mechanism to protect the internal pins.It has springs to contact the grounding clip of Type II CompactFlash cards.
