12-inch Macbook Air Retina might not make its appearance at Apple's second unveiling

What’s better than a Macbook Air? A Macbook Air with Retina display and the monster resolution that comes with it!

Word had it, for the past few months, of Apple planning to unveil more and more updated versions of its products with the Retina display treatment, and it seems very likely that a 12-inch iPad Air will join in.

With a new Apple event held in Cupertino, tomorrow morning, many hope to catch a glimpse of the device, while news reports are beginning to cite sources that appear skeptical on the matter, including RE/Code, the very source that predicted this event before it was even confirmed by Apple.

While hope for a 12-inch Macbook Air is beginning to fade, there is still plenty to look forward, as a Retina version of the Apple iMac looks very plausible, along with the next generation of iPad, and possibly, even an updated Mac Mini.

Of course the Mac OS X Yosemite will take the stage in a big way, as Apple is going to introduce one of the most anticipated operating systems this year.

Tomorrow’s event will be, by all means a smaller affair, yet it means big to Mac users who have been yearning for an update of these products. The rumors circulating about the Macbook Air with Retina display missing this event, is certainly an indication that Apple is not done surprising us.
